Atmospheric Science Certificate Application Information

NOTE: Students must apply to the certificate program
no later than the semester prior to taking the capstone course.

Only graduate students who are already accepted into an existing graduate program at ASU may apply.

To apply:

1. Complete an online application through the Graduate College, at www.asu.edu/gradapp.

2. Submit the following background information to Dr. Anthony Brazel, at the address below:

  1. Name, Campus Address, and contact information of Applicant (including local phone number and e-mail address).
  2. Name of ASU Graduate Program including advisor.
  3. Date of acceptance into ASU Graduate School.
  4. Educational Background including names and dates of all schools attended. List all degrees earned.
  5. List of any courses taken which will be considered for the Atmospheric Science Certificate, including title of course, prefix, course number, grade, number of credit hours.
  6. Each applicant will be required to write a one-page statement describing either their interest in the ASU Atmospheric Science Certificate program or a prospectus of their dissertation or thesis topic.
