Certificates
Graduate certificates are a linked series of courses in a single field or in a field that crosses disciplinary boundaries.
The School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning offers three certificate programs:
- Atmospheric Science Certificate
- Geographical Information Science Certificate
- Interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate Program in Transportation Systems
All are designed for students enrolled in a graduate program at ASU, and require a minimum of 16 credit hours. They provide recognition for a student's specialization in an interdisciplinary area while pursuing a degree in his or her respective program.
Because both are interdisciplinary, they draw students from a variety of schools, departments and programs.
