Geomorphology, quaternary environments, landscape evolution, science education in K-12 and post-secondary schools

Research Activities:

Currently researching:

1) Evolution and development of alluvial ran surfaces and risk associated with flooding of an encroaching urban area on South Mountain, central-Arizona.

2) The formation of the Grand Canyon and conceptually instructing post-secondary students on Grand Canyon's formation/evolution via transverse drainage mechanisms.

3) Landscape evolution of the Salt and Verde River Geomorphic Systems.
