Michelle Mattix

Owner, GeoMattix, LLC

Michele Mattix is the owner of GeoMattix, LLC, a company focused on helping clients integrate GPS and GIS technologies. GeoMattix is an ESRI consulting business partner and Michele is an ESRI authorized ArcGIS instructor and certified Trimble GPS trainer with a large offering of custom-designed courses to help clients choose and use geospatial technology in the office and in the field.

Michele worked at ESRI and with the Trimble distributor network as an instructor and geospatial consultant teaching basic and advanced geospatial concepts to clients from various industries and backgrounds.

Michele has worked on numerous projects with local, state, and federal governmental agencies as well as educational facilities and private businesses. She has been a presenter at numerous conferences and has organized volunteer GPS events in which GPS users collect data that is then donated to non-profits and underfunded federal agencies.

Michele has a Bachelor's degree in mathematics and joint Master's degrees in both climatology and environmental science.
