Pasqualetti speaks at Energy Council

September 29, 2009

Professor Mike Pasqualetti was a principal speaker at the annual meeting of The Energy Council on Friday, Sept. 25, 2009 in Wichita, the largest city in energy-rich Kansas. The Energy Council is a legislative organization of 11 energy-producing states in the U.S., five Canadian Provinces, and the nation of Venezuela.

Mike's presentation followed opening remarks by Kansas Governor Parkinson, and centered on the potential role of renewable energy development in reducing the needs for water in the generation of electricity. Kansas, like Arizona, is expecting increasingly dry conditions.
