Bio:

Nikolas started his post-college professional career in 2006, working for cultural resource management firms in Gainesville Florida, completing both archaeological and GIS projects. His first experience in GIS came in Leece, Italy involving database management for an archaeological field practicum.

Since then, Nikolas has earned his Masters degree in GIS at Arizona State University's school of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning. At Logan Simpson Design, Nikolas has collected electronic field-survey data, manipulated these data sets, and engineered different geo-spatial maps. Furthermore he has organized statistical analysis for a plethora of LSD projects.

He is proficient with ArcGIS 9.3 software, AutoCAD 2008, GeoMedia Pro 6.1, Dreamweaver, Trimble Pathfinder, Google SketchUp, Google Earth, Visual Basic for Applications, Visual Nature Studio, and most graphical Adobe products. His field knowledge of GPS hardware includes most models of personal Garmin equipment, total stations, GeoXM, GeoXT, and Juno Trimble units. Nikolas also holds a geostatistical analyst certification from Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) and a applied user-certificate from Trimble.
