GIS Experience: |
Mr. Stricklan has been involved in automated mapping and GIS activities since 1972, starting his career as a Production Manager for Technical Advisors, the first computerized mapping service bureau in Arizona. At Mapping Automation, he directs the business and technical development of web-based GIS technologies in the cadastral and infrastructure management industries. Mr. Stricklan is a registered Land Surveyor in Arizona, and is an Emeritus Executive Board Member of the Arizona Geographic Information Council (AGIC). He is a former Chairman of AGIC’s Geodetic Control Working Group, a previous Chairman of the Advisory Committee for Interactive Computer Graphics at Arizona State University, a past President of the Arizona Chapter of the National Computer Graphics Association, a past President of the Arizona Region of AM/FM International (now GITA), a previous President of the Arizona Intergraph Users’ Association, and is a Corresponding Member of the Federal Geographic Data Committee’s Cadastral Subcommittee. He is the current Vice-Chairman for the Arizona Professional Land Surveyors Association. Mr. Stricklan is an ESRI Business Partner Consultant, and has been affiliated with GIS consultancy programs sponsored by Intergraph and IBM. He is associated with several professional societies, including the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping, the Geospatial Information & Technology Association, URISA, and is a Charter Member of the Arizona Professional Land Surveyors. |
