GIS Mapathon

Tohono oodham region

Join us for a few hours of fun where you can practice your GIS skills, enhance your resume, meet other GIS students and professionals, eat pizza and make the world a better place!!!

Come to the lab use ArcMap or Open Street Map to create GIS data (use your own laptop or one of the lab computers).  Each student will be assigned an area and you will create data (house footprints, roads or electric lines) for that grid.  We will then provide the data to Tohono O’odham Nation and you will be making the world a better place.

ASU's Masters' in GIS (MAS-GIS) is hosting this event -- If you're curious about the program, this is a great opportunity to interact with some current students and learn from them!

The MAS-GIS is a 1 year, non-thesis degree in applied GIS – no GRE required.

So we can be sure to have work space and pizza for you, please RSVP here.
