Biography

Lindsey Conrow's research addresses the challenges of using crowdsourced data to understand human activity in urban areas. Broadly, this research examines what and whom crowdsourced data represent, how the data compare to traditional data, and how we can use these novel data sets alongside traditional data to improve planning and policy efforts for active transportation. Lindsey's recent projects include an optimization for bicycle share stations and statistical comparison of bicycle ridership represented by the Strava app and traditional count data.
