Graduate Advising

Are you interested in earning a graduate degree from the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning or do you need help understanding course requirements? You’ve come to the right place. Schedule an appointment in advance with graduate advising, or stop by during walk-in hours.

Appointment or walk-in?

Here are some common reasons for scheduling a graduate advising appointment:

  • Applying for a graduate program
  • Plan of Study Review
  • Any other issue that will take longer than 15 minutes to discuss

For simple questions that can be discussed in a short amount of time, walk-in appointments work well!

Also remember that the Graduate Programs Handbook answers many questions.
